We have exciting news! We're releasing a beer to commemorate UCL's 200 year anniversary.
In 1826, UCL emerged as London’s very first university. Staff and students from all over the world arrived in a city at the peak of the global brewing industry, where porter – the dark precursor to stout – was a daily staple.
184 years later, inspired to restore London’s brewing heritage, UCL student John “Jack” Hobday and flatmate Paul Anspach founded Anspach & Hobday in 2014. Their latest offer, UCaLe, is a light, fresh, English-hopped Bermondsey Pale Ale, created especially for UCL’s 200th anniversary.
So order yours and join the celebrations!
