A Design & Marketing Creator - Anspach & Hobday
We are hiring a Design & Marketing Creator to form a central role in our Award-winning marketing team. This salaried role is for a minimum of 40 hours per week. It is ideal for a current Design & Marketing candidate or a design graduate looking for a varied role working with a small team and rapidly growing business in the Food and Beverage Industry.
Anspach & Hobday has won multiple design and marketing awards including Brewer’s Choice Best Branding Award 2023 (for London Black), SIBA’s Best Individual Design 2023 (for London Black), The 2022 Beer and Cider Marketing Awards: Best New Launch (for London Black) and 2021 SIBA’s Best Concept Design (Oktoberfest beers)
The Role:
Coordinate with our teams (retail, wholesale and production) to produce the marketing assets for our beers, events and comms both B2B and B2C
New Beer Releases and associated campaign assets
Merchandising and POS Design
Help us plan and make the most impact from Festivals we attend
Help us build on existing A&H Festivals through design, comms and social media
Assist and drive retail initiatives such as bookings and hire.
Social Media Coordinator for Production, Sales, Taproom, alongside general product content
Website updates inc. SEO, Blogs, event pages
Work closely alongside founders Jack and Paul on new products, advertising campaigns and ancillary media
Requirements:
- Understanding of the business and brand of Anspach & Hobday: traditional styles in a modern way
- Demonstrable knowledge of working with social media
- Knowledge and experience in designing of marketing materials (posters, leaflets etc)
- Understanding of SEO and marketing campaigns including email campaigns e.g. Mail Chimp
- Strong communication to include excellent English and outrageously good group co-ordinating skills
- Proficiency in Indesign, Photoshop and wider Adobe Suite
- Able to multi-task and willing to embrace multiple projects of varying sizes on the go at any one time
- Able to plan ahead and coordinate big campaigns, festivals, awards entries and pitches, and beer launches
- Conscientious approach to regular curation and scheduling of social media across company divisions
Additional/preferred:
- Photography and Videography skills
- Proficiency in Adobe film suites
- Demonstrable experience and success with previous marketing campaigns and assets particularly in reference to social media, design my night & events
- Experience working for other FMCG companies particularly in the artisan and craft beer sector

Remuneration & Place of Work:
The role will be based at a mix of locations with scope for working from home, site visits (A&H Sites in Croydon and Bermondsey), Events and Trade locations. Remuneration is to be discussed upon application, projected around £33,000 - £37,000 p.a. Factoring in experience, plus performance-related bonus incentives.
